By accessing or using Browsehand ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Browsehand is an AI-powered roleplay chat platform that provides tools for users to create characters and engage in text-based conversations with AI models. The Service acts solely as a platform and tool provider.

3. User Responsibility

Important Disclaimer:

  • The Service provides AI chat tools only. All content generated through the Service is created by users interacting with third-party AI models.
  • Users are solely responsible for all content they create, generate, or consume through the Service.
  • Browsehand does not create, curate, endorse, or distribute any user-generated content.
  • The AI responses are generated by third-party providers (e.g., OpenRouter) and Browsehand has no control over the output.

4. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users who misrepresent their age.

5. Prohibited Content

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Generate content involving minors in any sexual or inappropriate context
  • Create content that promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination
  • Engage in any illegal activities
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to circumvent any security measures
  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose without authorization

6. Content Ownership

Characters you create remain your intellectual property. However, you grant Browsehand a limited license to store and process this content as necessary to provide the Service. AI-generated responses are not owned by Browsehand.

7. Subscription and Payments

Premium subscriptions are processed through Patreon. Subscription terms, billing, refunds, and cancellations are governed by Patreon's terms of service. Browsehand is not responsible for payment processing.

8. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. BROWSEHAND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Browsehand and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
